Thematic ticket issued in honor of the centenary of the Ryazan Guards Higher Airborne Command School (RGVVDKU). It is a specialized military academy training airborne officers. It was founded on November 13, 1918, as an educational institution for infantry courses. In 1996, the school was named after Army General V.F. Margelov, in honor of the Soviet military leader Vasily Filippovich Margelov, who made a significant contribution to the development of the Russian Airborne Troops (VDV).
